I was surprised it no longer had a SIM card slot - eSIM only. Disappointed the new Magic Keyboard only comes in white. For field work that just won’t stay clean looking for long - I hope they bring the charcoal option back

Thank goodness Apple put in all that work. Taylor’s album might be at risk of not reaching her audience without it.

The difference between a million and a billion One million seconds = 11.5 days One billion seconds = 31.7 years One trillion seconds = 3,154 years For a person making a decent salary of $100K/year, making 10 million isn’t likely in their lifetime.

Oh boy. For those of us that live in Surrey (which Apple products interpret as Siri) this might be a problem. Time and testing will tell

Link to app from one of CBP’s websites https://www.cbp.gov/about/mobile-apps-directory still points you to the old Mobile Passport by Airside app - whoops I have and use Nexus/PreTSA, but not all entry ports support it, and sometimes I travel wi…

I take it this means AirPods work similar to an AirTag and leverage other iPhones to update their location to the owner. Does this work even only if the AirPod is in the case, or regardless? I wonder how much battery this feature consumes in a 24hr …

Remember when the first white iPhone had a light leak issue? They overcame that. Wonder if the engineers will develop a case that can be any color you choose in Settings or tied to your Focus mode or calendar appointment?

These stories give me just a little hope for my Apple Watch sitting in the Cowichan River

This cool feature will help attract attention to the iPhone and make Lock Screen better. Personally, I’m more interested in the great features beyond the Lock Screen (you know, where 99.99% of one’s device time is spent).

How do AirPods report their changing location if they are no longer near the iPhone they pair with? I assume they can simply be factory reset to end whatever allowed them to be tracked.

Clever enough to know how to apply for an Apple Card in minutes. Just not clever enough to have added other Apple Pay payment methods in the last 7 years. That’s a funny ad.

Goes to show a processor needs software tailored to its feature set. For Intel-based Macs I found it hard to know if the apps benefit from an i7 vs i5, or from an external video card or GPU vs. onboard. Are there good sources to validate the expense…

So an election is won by the most popular messaging, not by the best ideas on how to make the school better for the student body. iPad is powerful - love mine, but this cute ad feels like it condones the very form of politics that is eroding society.

Apple chose to get into this market. Now that it has, it seems to be leading in protecting Apple and non-Apple customers from potential misuse of AirTags. Clearly there is much more to do. All smartphone and tracking device makers need to protect th…

Working together would be nice, but how likely is that? This form of device requires piggybacking on a global network of other people’s smartphones. What ‘say’ do owners have in their smartphone’s role in this solution (or problem)? I may want to …
