 Seriously there's too much poutrage on this thread, if you guys don't watch out you'll end up like macrumors. FFIW the Samsung answer (if indeed it is meant to be an answer) is not a copy of anything Apple has done unlike much of their serious stuff like actual design thievery. In this case it's simply a risible and creepy looking badly executed attempt so it's definitely not a copy. It's the sort of thing that Android owners deserve.

The S8 had the scanner to the side of the lens so that depending on style of use, either right or left handed users were likely to smudge the lens, with this new arrangement Samsung has made it so that whether it is used right or left handed both are equally likely to smudge the lens.
