Apple's Lisa Jackson says environmental regulation is essential
Maybe if Apple and other corporations supported and encouraged actual safe and efficient power generation, like nuclear, and usage, like wired versus wireless charging, I'd be more inclined to listen. As it is, it's lip service only.Regulation also tends to be very exclusionary. Large companies like Apple can afford nearly any cost such regulation incurs, while smaller companies cannot, so of course Apple favors regulation. -

Disney+ is now cracking down on password sharing in the U.S.
Given the quality of the stuff they've been putting out lately, they should be glad they have any viewers at all. And I'm not talking about any supposed "wokeness" in their productions, I couldn't care less what race, gender, orientation, etc a character has in the vast majority of cases. I'm talking about the quality of the productions themselves.

Trump demanding that Apple must unlock shooter's iPhones because of foreign apps
DaRev said:Routh is alive and should be compelled to unlock the apps in question or face additional penalties. As for TMC's phone and Apps. unless they are written down Trump and the FBI are SOL.
Assuming the suspect has a brain and is using a passcode instead of some form of biometrics, SCOTUS has already ruled that the Fifth Amendment prevents him from being compelled to reveal the passcode.
