I read the article thanks..  If you read the article my comment wouldn't be hard to understand.  I think it is being Chinese owned is the connection, not gay dating apps being targeted.  Which both Grindr and TickTok are..chinese owned..according to the article.

Seemingly at the center of Lynch's concerns are TikTok and Grindr, both of which are owned by Chinese companies.

Be specific, it’s about companies controlled behind the scene by the Communist Party of China.

Josh Hawley is not educated on such things, treats other countries as enemies when they are our friends, does not realize the value of global scale economies, and is simply not the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to these topics.  
China is a great and powerful nation, with thousands of years of culture, hard-working people, brilliant people, massive resources and relationships with other countries all around the world. Why do we want to strain that and isolate ourselves from the largest market on earth?

“ China is a great and powerful nation”, yes, but you forgot (or intentionally hid) to mention the Communist Party of China (CPC).  While no politician is an expert of everything, Josh Hawley is doing a good job. All nations with people love democracy should do the same thing.

It’s not about FB, it’s Apple.
When iOS is incapable of stopping these kind of loophole, how can we be feeling safe using all other apps?

The bugs / improvement requests feedback list are still there:  
Photos app, Share Albums invitation, panoramic shooting with first frame saw-edging;
Contacts with phone number unable to find, spotlight Search missing, Street field with more than 14 characters not copying, lack of functionality, no field level security;
New iPhone cannot restore from iOS backup and there is no indication that Find My Phone is not turned off;
Find My is still a reduced version of Find My Phone that you can't see other nearby people near the Find My person and you can't push to update their locations;
Bluetooth still randomly connect to previously connected devices, or not able to connect without using Settings>Bluetooth;
Multiple Apple IDs iCloud access on Reminders app becomes single Apple ID iCloud access;
Books app is till single Apple ID iCloud access? Unable to consolidate / transfer purchases ownership etc.
Another 20+ on my list.
