While many in the tech media are all over this beautygate thing, millions upon millions of ordinary people flock to their local Apple stores and are buying the XS and max, in droves. 
I think we can let the dozens upon dozens of Youtubers and tech Illuminati at CNet/Verge etc. have their fun until they forget this gate and move on to the next gate. 
IMO these #gates have been so overused that they’re loosing their lustre.

Concept future devices from the competition will always beat currently shipping devices from Apple. 

Totally agree with this assessment of AirPods. 
I was lucky to find two boxes on the shelf of the downtown Montreal Apple store in December 2016. 
Haven’t worn a wired earphone with my iPhone/iPad ever since. 

In all these commercials, they use the Apple logo. I’m surprised they are allowed to do that.

I beg to differ. 
By 2020, Apple would probably capture the top 10% of the market and 90% of the profits from this sector. 
They’ll let Amazon and Google battle it out for the scraps.
