My two cents... From a long term perspective, if standing up for human rights, freedom of information and fair trade are important to Apple, then having a presence in China is key.  If Apple continues to put great products and services into the country, even in an edited form, they accomplish a greater infusion of their values than if they just raised a middle finger.  Times will change.  China will slowly change.  It isn't fair and it isn't right, but staying accomplishes more than leaving.  I expect President Trump to test the boundaries of US / China trade and labor relations.  We'll see.

I truly believe Jony needs to give us a FrankenMac or WozoMac.  A piece that combines industrial design art with maximum upgrade, modification, customization ability.  A totally off the wall, nuts functional design.  

Perhaps this in not feasible, due to the way macOS has evolved.  I'd buy such a desktop machine, as much for the novelty as for the functionality.  

Well, I'll shut up now.  Basically, they pulled it out in the final seconds of the game.  Hope they sell billions and billion - Sorry, reading a Carl Sagan bio.

Fact 1:  Removing the headphone jack from iPhone 7 was planned months and months ago.
Fact 2:  Removing headphone jack would necessitate an Apple wireless solution, ripe for innovation.
Fact 3:  iPhone 7 introduced in September, with the primary bitch being, "No headphone jack?"
Fact 4:  Airpods should have shipped same day as iPhone 7 and been flawless.

This isn't a small mistake.  It's a huge fumble.  Airpods ain't gonna ship for Christmas.  They are a nice gift price point and all that revenue is bye bye.  How many new products this year?  How many are truly innovative and "Leap Frog?"  Nada
