Stoopid!  I can’t wrap my head around how dumb this story is.  Good Pro computer.  Apple is simply setting up a competition between two of its products.  Hopefully, the coming Mac Pro will be a completely flexible old school design.  The two go head to head.  Clear sales winner stays in product line.  If they both do well, then they both stay.  IMO the iMac Pro is a fantastic offering.  It covers a majority of a Pro’s needs

HomePod sounds freaking amazing.  It’s not just good.  It’s insanely great.  Software updates will fill the functionality gaps.  Killer App is playing music and in my listening experience HomePod has no peer.

I have a pair of Goldenear Tritons, which are serious high end speakers.  The damn HomePod is better in a small area.  I can’t believe how good it is.  Game over.  Apple wins!

I suspect the average iPhone user has about 50% the knowledge of iOS that the average Appleinider reader has.  Perhaps even less.  For the majority of iOS users, automatically reducing power consumption in order to optimize battery life is just good engineering.  Further it’s nothing new.  This tech is highly advanced, AI mediated, genius stuff!  I cannot believe anyone with a brain thinks this is an issue worthy of a moments thought.  In fact, why am I commenting!
