  • Musical comedy 'Schmigadoon!' dies in Schmicago, won't return for a third season

I don’t know whether this show was good or bad. But generally, it’s interesting to see that shows now need to prove themselves, and don’t limp along for years just because they had a good slot on network TV. This can only bode well for entertainment.

To be fair, none of the Apple TV shows is a must-see. They play it too safe, no comparison to HBO, BBC, or even Amazon. Even the Morning Show started strong and has turned into a soap opera.
    Guess you missed Slow Horses.
I love Slow Horses, that should indeed have been nominated. Gary Oldman is a legend in it, and the writing is as good at times as Succession. The Guardian summed it up nicely: Slow Horses is so good, it could be on BBC1. I thought that describes Apple TV+ well, the absolute best is just about good enough for BBC1.
I think the shows on ATV+ are good, I watch many, they just seem to lack a little edge, a little innovation, a little aftertaste. But then again, who am  to judge... Thanks for bringing up Slow Horses, and now I will bring up Silo, that was special, world building, twists, ambiguity, etc.

  • Senator Warren wades into Apple's Beeper fight with irrelevant antitrust rhetoric

She's a boomer. Those types don't do well with technology. Her and her staff need to educate themselves before posting the nonsense.
I am not so sure this is correct. It was Boomers/Xers that built all the technology on top of which we now work and live. Internet, Web browsers, Office apps, music codecs, etc? Including, by the way, Steve Jobs.
And even Boomers that merely used computers, they started using computers in the 1980's, where the had to manage storage space, switch discs mid-workflow, install "drivers" every time they bought a peripheral, work their way through multi-level menus, live with 8-character file names, and basically code a web page from scratch. And no "undo" buttons. Millennials on the other hand have a nervous breakdown when a process requires more than three clicks.
More accurate is "She's a politician. Those types don't do well with technology".

  • Apple Podcasts coming to Tesla for premium subscribers

I still don't understand why Tesla is considered a Technology Leader in the car industry. Virtually every other electric car may not have Netflix and a Fart noise, but has
    - CarPlay
    - ability to chose between one-pedal-driving and using the brakes for regen, instead of having to have one-peel driving permanently engaged
    - a SatNav worth the name - Tesla is a map view with written instructions, and sometimes the two don't even match
    - a suspension
    - adaptive cruise control sans the phantom braking
    - Car Play (again, because it really is that important)
     - matrix lighting
