Once Apple controls the user interface for the entire car, it would only a matter of time until they make demands for the rest of the stack, to “provide the best user experience”.It may end up the other way round: Apple will give access to their data/platforms for a seamless integration with manufacturer’s interfaces.My Audi interface is much nicer than CarPlay, but there is no eco-system behind it. Let the tug of war begin. -

I still don't understand why anyone would prefer to manage their lights, heating, and curtains in one central spot in a big house, instead of in the individual rooms where those things are located. I can understand managing them from a watch or a phone that one always carries around, but a central fixed hub? But what do I know.
