This leaker replies on YouTube. He replied to me when I questioned him.

its probably one of those “12 days of Christmas” things.

i wish it was an M1 Apple TV.
The Apple TV, not being a Mac, will not be using an M1 chip in any future iteration.
I believe Apple can go for the consoles with an M1 (sort of) kind of processor on an Apple TV. As of now the ATV looks to me as overpriced related to PS4/xboxes. They have not said that M1 will not be able to run TVos or IOs... just guessing ... to grow revenues AAPL should go for more countries or more services and (why not?) more capable hardware...
Who is comparing the ATV to the consoles you mention? You don't think if they keep the current path and update from the A10x in the existing 4K Appletv's to the newest A14 chip the hardware won't be capable?  I have 3 current gen ATV 4ks in my home. Not once have I felt it they were underpowered in the slightest. I have tried Apple Arcade games with a PS4 controller and they were smooth and fast.. I just prefer to do my gaming on an actual console PS4 and now PS5. I don't see Apple going after big AAA games for the Apple Tv.. I could be wrong, but I just don't see it happening.

I will agree however that the price is a bit high after 3 years of the same hardware. Not compared to game consoles but streaming boxes in general.

  • MagSafe Duo Charger, iPhone leather sleeve cost $129, and are 'coming soon'

Who wants a sleeve for their phone?  It only makes it more trouble to access the phone.
Me. I use my iPhone without a case except when it is my pocket. Works great. I get the benefit of using the phone in its intended state and it is protected in my pocket. At home or at my desk, the phone is out it’s case. I’ve only ever dropped my iPhone when I’ve been taking it out of or putting it in my pocket.
    +1

I have been considering going back to no case.I stopped using them on my phones until my XS Max. Once the phone got to this size and price I just felt better using a case. Apple leather cases give nice grip and decent protection, just a PITA to keep taking on and off when I am at home, or out and about. This is a prefect compromise.

This will work lovely with my new Pro max.. really looking forward to this.  I didn't pay attention to this during the keynote.. just saw the clock and colors changing and didn't think much of it.

  • Preorders for $1,099 iPhone 12 Pro Max now live

I got lucky... store opened for me at exactly 8:00:00. In and out in under a minute. 1 Pro Max & 2 cases. Now comes the hard part... waiting another week.

Same with me. I set everything up for the preorder on Wednesday. I opened the store app on my phone at 7:58 and got a message that said " You're early ..enjoy the extra few minutes of sleep". As soon as it hit 8am my order popped up ready to be confirmed. This was the smoothest year yet for me.

Silver Pro Max! Can't wait to get this gorgeous thing in my hands. B)

The majority do not buy  for privacy. Most don’t care about that at all.
Speak for yourself.  Regardless, privacy is one of Apple's core values and it is a competitive advantage that Apple does advertise and capitalize on.

If majority of the people "really" cared about privacy, how do you explain Facebook being one of the Top downloaded applications in the App Store?
Stupidity or vanity. Maybe even both?

This is a TERRIBLE IDEA.  I was against Apple TV+ because I don’t think Apple should be creating content.. this is much much scarier to me.  As much as I love Apple my politics don’t line up with them and Big Tech Censorship of Conservative Voices is a HUGE PROBLEM.  I don’t think Apple would play it any different from Jack Dorsey or Mark Zuckerberg.  We will see more one-sided censorship.  How ironic that 1984 was the inspiration for the Apple’s ad decades ago.. people are now getting de-platformed for “wrong think”.  Our own President is censored on Twitter!  Does Apple really wanna be doing this?  I do not like this.
For starters, it seems odd that anyone would object to Apple creating TV content, but I guess that's an issue for another thread.  As for censorship, who knows what Apple will do?  Is having another choice really such a bad thing?  Even if they did censor searches, are you any worse off than you are now?
You can be worse off. Now you have one more source for false witness. A source that has spent years building its reputation in one area now attempting to used it’s earn status in a new specialty. The default is people will automatically trust what information/results Apple presents. Political philosophy/point of view on topics is completely different than delivering a  product.

History will show that what’s being censored is mistruths, misdirection and misinformation.  It just happens there’s one major source of that above all others these past few years.
You get to moderate these forums. Thankfully you don’t get to moderate more than that. There are emails, videos, recordings, text messages, witnesses, willing to tell what they saw, heard, wrote, and you do not want them to have a voice. Meanwhile we spent 3.5 years on accusations and unnamed sources and you’re fine with that?

There are people out there that think the world is flat. Others think it is hollow with aliens living inside. Yet more don’t believe the holocaust happened. What if one of those people gained control to the levers and switches of Google or Bing. Do they have the right to decide what’s a mistruth, misdirection, yadda, yadda?

We also have a POTUS that retweets info regarding QAnon and then acts like he doesn't understand why it was a big deal? He then denies knowledge of QAnon and can't grasp that concept that he is the president, and what he ( re-tweets ) is seen and embraced by lots of people.

  • Evidence mounting that Apple is preparing alternative to Google search

If Apple Search is anything like Apple Maps or Siri, NO THANKS!  If someone can give me an alternative to Google Search that is AS GOOD, then I might switch, but I know, in fact, there isn't one.  Someone above said DuckDuckGo isn't as good, and ever try Bing?  It's a joke.

Be careful what you wish for.
    Sounds like FUD to me.

I use Apple Maps exclusively and it works great for the directions I need.  It appears to be more limited in terms of finding businesses (e.g., a search for "swimming pool supplies"), but that's not my primary use case (which is getting me where I want to go).

And Bing works just fine as well.  What obscure searches are you doing that Bing (or DuckDuckGo) doesn't give you reasonable, useful results?  Google is insanely powerful, but, for my purposes, it's way more than I need.

Seriously, provide an example of a search query that Google nails that completely foils DDG or Bing.
I use Apple maps as well and have no issues. I see people make these claims of how badly it performs and always assume they aren't in US after this many years. I used maps just this past weekend to get to a friends new house on a tiny private road up in West End ( Pocono Area ) here in Pennsylvania. Apple maps was turn for turn accurate. If people don't know PA this area is in the middle of the mountains and rural enough to have acres of land between homes.

I also us DDG as my primary search. Unless I am unable to find something and I will default to Google.  An example is searching for something by part # or model #. I find that DDG requires more info than Google to come up with what I am looking for.
