  • Popular iPhone XR 'saved' Apple, says report

A bit over the top exaggerated title - no one is going to buy it. That alone indicates that this is a worthless article to read.
An online marketing group has published research data that shows how important the iPhone XR was to Apple -- and claims that it even 'saved' the company.

They are reporting on a marketing group's claim.  Get over yourself.. sheesh ..

  • Complex iOS 13 exploit allows viewing of contacts without unlocking iPhone

This has happened to 1 of my 2 XS phones. I pull it out of my pocket and the camera is on. Phone is very hot. Not liking that at all because one of the times it was in there 40 minutes while I drove to work. The battery was already half gone from full charge. So not sure what is causing it but I am damn sure it was off, as I do with both phones, before putting in my pockets.
Steve Jobs says you're using your pocket wrong.
Wow the “you’re holding it wrong”  joke just never gets old ....  ;)

  • Confusion reigns over iPhone 11 Pro RAM, benchmarking tests

    DAalseth said:
So, actual Geekbench testing said 4GB. Unnamed, unverified sources of unknown reliability say 6Gb. Uh, yeah I'd go with the actual measurement until I get more data. I suppose it is possible that the base version has 4 and ones with more RAM, or the Max version has 6. But the only way to know for sure is an actual measurement, not rumours.
Onleaks ( Steve Hemmerstoffer has reported 4GB RAM iPhone 11 and 6GB for the Pro's.  I have always heard/read that Onleaks is pretty reliable with his info? Who knows though.. B)

Onleaks has tweeted to say that he believes the iPhone 11 packs 6GB of RAM. Only one can be correct, of course.

For those who care about these details #Apple never share officially, seems like:

    - #iPhone11 = 4GB RAM + 3110mAh battery (Xr = 3GB + 2942mAh)
    - #iPhone11Pro = 6GB RAM + 3190mAh battery (Xs = 4GB RAM + 2658mAh)
    - #iPhone11ProMax = 6GB RAM + 3500mAh (Xs Max = 4GB RAM + 3174mAh)

  • HomePod gains multi-user support, ambient noise generator, live radio this fall

    jonro said:
The Homepod is a buggy piece of garbage. Who cares about radio stations? I would be happy if they actually worked reliably in stereo and worked with more than one single app — iTunes. My Homepods are the only Apple device I truly regret buying.
One app? You can Airplay from any app you want. If you mean baked in to use Siri voice control that isn't quite the same as only being able to use one app. Apple was open from release that AppleMusic was the only app that was Siri enabled. At least I thought they were?

If I may ask if your home pods Weren't/aren't working in stereo mode correctly why would you not return them for replacements?

I currently only use one in my home and I don't feel it to be buggy...Other folks here use them daily and I haven't read buggy as a complaint?  I will say that airplay is a bit finicky sometimes but closing whatever app is acting up usually takes care of the issue.

  • iPhone 11 Pro & iPhone 11 Pro Max -- Hands on and first impressions

That camera design is absolutely atrocious... Apple design really going downhill
What alternative design did you have in mind ?  What design should they have used to not look like what Huawei and Samsung have on the market ?  To go as far as to call it atrocious you must have had a better design in mind ..no ?

From all all the leaks leading up to release I didn’t know if I liked the design as well. Seeing the finished product and now some hands on review videos it looks clean and a lot better than I thought. 😎
