Breaking down Apple's AirPods Pro: 8 features that set them apart
I don't understand how squeezing (which requires both the thumb and forefinger) is better than tapping. What if I'm wearing gloves? I can easily tap with gloves, but how am I supposed to get my thumb between the AirPod and my ear without pulling the AirPods out of my ear if I'm wearing gloves?. It seems to me that squeezing is "harder" in that it takes more time to do than just tapping.
That said, I did pre-order my AIrPods Pro, so I guess I'll find out soon. Still, it's disconcerting. -

16-inch MacBook Pro release, MacBook Air updates predicted for September
I'll add that I also have a 2012 rMBP which is going strong (having replaced the screen, battery and internal SSD) with every port I need actually built in (imagine that!!). The new MBP will be VERY expensive, especially since I will need dongles galore (USB 2.0, HDMI, SD cards, etc) for work, home and the plane. Still, I'm sure it will be a nice machine. -

Craig Federighi says iPadOS created because iPad is now a 'truly distinct experience'
Do you think they will one day let us have non-contiguous icons on the Home screen? I'd love to have a blank row or "holes" of icons to better visually separate out groups (without having to put them in folders). Such and obvious thing and yet, 9 years after the introduction of the iPad, still a no-show. Oh well...
