Dan Niles has always been wrong! Specifically, he’s been coming on CNBC for 20 years, telling people he’s shorting Apple, time after time after time. This while the stock was ascending like a diagonal, making its run to all time highs. This guy has to be broke. Let’s see all those losses, Dan!

Dan Niles is a tech analyst-pundit who’s regularly gone on CNBC proclaiming he’s shorting Apple. For years, every single time, he warns the viewers: Short Apple! Short Apple! Doom! Gloom! This while over the past 20 years, Apple stock has been a rocket to the sky. I’m sick of this knucklehead. What a joke! He must be broke! You’d think the CNBC commentators would call him out on these trades, but…

Maybe the next killer app will be an obvious and simple idea: FRONT ROW SEAT, done in conjunction with the NBA or NFL, whereby you can watch live sports from close-up, intimate viewpoints, not the nosebleed seats far away from the action.

Or maybe, advances in artificial intelligence might spawn a whole a new era of virtual companions: SEXY SUZY, ROVER THE DOG, TONY TEACHES TYPING. Maybe Apple’s Siri will be fleshed out to be a virtual companion. So, as R2D2 is to Luke Skywalker, Siri can be to you. Maybe someone will license Marilyn Monroe’s voice and likeness from her estate and they’ll be the MY MARILYN app. Marilyn sitting on the couch beside you! Whatever. Virtual companions is fertile ground.

From time to time on AppleInsider, I read an article like this with the common theme: righting anti-Apple misinformation (or misperception), and I just shake my head in disbelief because it's just a 180 from what we're being told elsewhere. If it's same author (Daniel Eran Dilger?) writing these articles, I think he should win the Pulitzer Prize.
