Apple said to be working on fixing 'aggressive' skin smoothing in iPhone XS photos
I immediately noticed this when testing out the cameras just after unboxing. Nobody had to tell me about it - it's pretty obvious.

iPhone XR uses algorithms to simulate depth effects found on iPhone XS & XS Max
I mean, isn't it always an algorithm? I've seen people say that it somehow uses both cameras, but how do you stitch images of completely different focal lengths together? It's never made sense to me.

I don't think the new iPads are going to have a notch. Besides the leaked icon from the beta not including one, it just doesn't make sense. These aren't single-handed devices that you can hold by the edge, so some degree of bezel is going to be needed to prevent accidental presses.

The other day I was having lunch with three iPhone users and none of them knew that 3D touch was even a feature when I brought it up. Even knowing about it, I practically never use it. Cursor moving is the only thing I've actually found useful.
