Amateur performers embrace VR porn on Apple Vision Pro
With “this shot across the bow,” the success of the AVP is almost assured. Steve Jobs and Apple have been notoriously against pornographic uses of Apple products and devices but it is clear that the right tools need to be in place for the creation of VR media for the success of the device. Not just this type of media but sports, influencers, fix-it videos, etc etc. It is going to take more than brief dinosaurs immersion experiences. -

AirPods & Apple Watch market share insight opens debate on consumer choice
The issue that the DOJ misses here is finding consumer harm. Those of us that want our walled garden feel just fine about our interoperability. It is becoming more and more obvious that was is driving this are complaints from other companies. The SuperApp issue and SmartWatch complaints are the most obvious.
Consumers have a choice here…if you want mix and match you go Android/Windows. If you want uniform quality, interoperability and a more trouble-free experience, you go iOS and MacOS. Going backwards from peripheral preferences is an example of muddled thinking.

Apple Vision Pro's first new immersive video in months is 5 minutes of old soccer clips
I do think sports and venue immersion feeds are the future for some of the VisionPro demand. There may be technical issues, i.e. the number of immersive cameras available, their expense & difficulty in manufacturing that we are unaware of, etc. It would be great if future iPhones could evolve to take not only 3D but immersion experiences as well. I suspect this is a ways off.
