iPhone XS Max scores second in DxOMark's smartphone camera tests

"iPhone sucks lol!"
"Huawei has .02% better camera!"
"Samsung has faster LTE"
"Pixel has squeeze for Android Siri"
"LG has brighter screen!"
"ZTE has cheaper price for SAME features lol!"
......great, now I have to tape 5 androids together to get a comparable iPhone......nice.
If other manufacturers were allowed to build IOS devices, not everyone would buy from Apple.
You buy a phone based on your budget and features.
If you just wanted a phone to make calls, the odd bit of browsing and checking Facebook, why would you even contemplate spending more than 350 dollars on a phone. -

iPhone XS Max scores second in DxOMark's smartphone camera tests

Picture quality is vastly more driven by human eyeballs understanding what makes a good picture and their capability to actually take the shot; and, like the billions of poor pictures taken from DSLRs, these smartphone cameras won’t enable someone to take better pictures. I’m sure I would be equally bad at taking a good picture with these phones as I am with my 6S Plus.
Hate all these picture quality comparisons. -
Photography expert debunks iPhone XS 'beautygate,' details Apple's software-driven camera ...
The iPhone camera photos just seem to becoming more and more fake in my opinion. Reducing noise is one thing, but colours aren't even realistic either.
This video demonstrates the issue perfectly
Be interesting to see what dxomark make of the new IPhone's, as the premium android phones have outshone the iphone camera for a while now, iPhone X in 8th place.

Huawei again estimated to have overtaken Apple as world's No. 2 smartphone vendor
metrix said:There is overwhelming evidence that Huawei phones are being used by the Chinese to spy on Americans according to US senator Tom Cotton.
How come Europe hasn't banned them or even hinted at banning them, surely the security risk would have been shared?
This is all about politics, USA doesn't want any big brand Chinese firms in the U.S. market, it's all down to protectionism in my opinion.
