"Foxconn may transfer Chinese engineers to Wisconsin"

But... Doesn't that go against the Orange Clown's efforts to stop immigrants from "invading" the USA, and to MAWA... er, I mean MAGA?

Childish insults aside, the President has done a heck of a lot more in this than Obama did...which was just sit on his butt.

I guess that's all you can do when you don't at least try.

  • Apple fighting high property tax assessments in Santa Clara county

Nothing like crapping on your number one taxpayer. There is no end to the greed of Santa Clara.
Nothing like crapping on the county that you're taking over, and the county whose roads you're clogging. Yeah, we should all feel soooo sad for the poor, poor trillion-dollar-valued Apple! They have to - somehow - make a living and scrape by, right?

Apple likes to maximize their lawsuit wins, and minimize their taxes, ripping off cities, but when Santa Clara County wants to get their far share tax income THEY'RE the ones who are greedy?

Man, the lengths the fanboys go to...

    Everyone's soooooo happy!

You want to be protected from big, bad law enforcement...while gladly and willingly handing over all your private and personal data to Google and Facebook.

Chances of law enforcement wanting to break into your phone to get your personal data: 0.00000001%
Chances of Facebook wanting to get your personal data: 100%

  • Mark Zuckerberg calls Tim Cook's anti-Facebook retort 'glib,' defends ad-based model

" ...let the companies that work hard to charge you more convince you that they actually care more about you. Because that sounds ridiculous to me." Neither Apple nor Facebook "care about you". They care about profits and margins and revenue. They have just gone about it in different ways - with Apple, they use the old-school model, selling you a product. With Facebook, they use the new Silicon Valley technology model - sell advertising, and provide the product for free. But as everyone's finding out, they don't actually sell advertising...they sell YOUR personal data to advertisers, and it's true that "you're not the customer, you're the product". I believe that considering these two models, it's in Apple's best interest to care about you, and Facebook's best interest is to care less about you by selling more of your data.

  • After Cambridge Analytica scandal, publishers see Apple News as a solid alternative to bei...

I'm underwhelmed with Apple News. It still shows me articles from news sources I'm not interested in, and I have no idea how to exclude them. This is not a political manifesto, but let's just say the delivered content has a certain political slant. Using "Dislike Story" hasn't seem to have made any noticeable changes in the content delivered.
