Apple officially acquired NeXT 23 years ago, changing everything
It is often mentioned that Apple was 6 months from bankruptcy when they acquired Next. What was the deal for Next? What would have happened if Apple did go bankrupt? Would Next be able to continue on it’s own? Seems like a kind of stupid idea to sell to Apple at that time. If Steve Jobs wasn’t their boss, would they ever had agreed? -
Retro revisit: Using Apple's iPod mini in 2020
This was my first Apple product as well! Before I bought it I had a vague impression of what apple was. They made strange computers that were very inexpensive. But after I bought the iPod mini I got really curious of Apple. The mini was a really amazing experience! Prior to that I had a CD mp3 player, and the difference were I could choose ANY of my songs immediately was like day and night! I'm so sad it broke down. I would say the hard drive was its weakest point, the aluminium case still looks kinda new. When I start it it says "error, contact apple store", I wonder what happens if I bring it to a Apple store? -

Apple now responsible for 2.4 million US jobs
I really like a break down on the App developer numbers. I find it hard that almost two million people make a living developing. I thought the top 100 app companies took the majority of the profit. Glad that American venders get paid though, although that is hard to understand that apple can spend 60 billion on battery quality. Would as well like to see a break down on what cost in a iPhone. (And Mac) I guess that if you split 60 billion to millions of iPhone over several years it’s not that expensive per phone.
