  • Lower MacBook sales push Apple down to sixth place in laptop marketshare

    Expected results are expected.

It'll rebound if they cut prices and/or make meaningful updates without raising prices (they need to match or beat everything out there on the next update at Apple's current prices, IMO).  Otherwise, expect to see this trend continue.

Who was the guy again claiming to have bought hundreds of share at $100 the other day? You have all my sympathy.
    I bought 300 shares at $99.00
    I bought 200 shares at $92.75

Its obvious you have no idea about INVESTING. Sorry I'm not a trader.

If you are not willing to hold Apple shares for at least 5 years you are not investing.

We will see who will have sympathy in 5 years when the stock is at $300
    Bookmarked this one.

There is 0 chance of $300 in 5 years.  Just like there was 0 chance of $150 at the end of 2015.

You will make some money on your 500 in 5 years though.

  • iPhone sales fall to 51.2M, Apple earns $50.6B in revenue in disappointing March quarter

To ignore the "pent up demand for larger screens in 2014-2015" making those years fall a bit outside of direct comparison is foolish.  To ignore that had it not been for "pent up demand for larger screens" this current "turn of events" probably would have happened a year or two earlier than now, is very short sighted.

Apple just doesn't have anything fresh coming out that the general population of consumers cares about right now.  The simple fact the last "killer feature" that drove big sales was just "bigger screens" is troublesome, at best, for a company that beats the innovation drum so hard.  Hard to fathom how anyone could miss that.

In other words: Get used to these kinds of calls.

Apple is only getting what it deserves for not living up to their own hype.  That's it.  It's the current leadership's (if you can call it that) fault; not wall street or anything cuckoo concerning the markets.  Ive is washed up or in a pretty bad lull, Cook is spent, and Cue is off in lala land mixing it up with celebs too busy to come up with anything good.

  • Only months after launch, 'Disney Infinity' ditches support for Apple TV

I'm calling it... Sog's account must have been hacked and it is someone else behind the keyboard.

I'd agree with 85% of what he said.  Usually it's closer to 0%.

  • Apple releases watchOS 2.2 with support for pairing multiple Apple Watches to one iPhone

I have two.  One for dev use, one for personal (right now each one is paired with a different iPhone).

It'll be wonderful to be able to use the dev device (being a sport model) to wear when doing things that I wouldn't want to risk the more expensive Watch.  (Situations I would still like the functionality that also could be damaging to any Watch).  If I wanted to do that before, I'd have to un-pair and re-pair every time I switched, wiping out Apple Pay.  While not a huge deal since Apple Pay rarely works around here (...more than a year later), it's nice to have an easy way to try without fumbling with a phone.

My use case is inherently rare though.  However I'd bet people who do have a 1st get and end up getting a 2nd get will probably want to keep the 1st get as a "beater" and this will allow that more realistic scenario.

I have not tried, but I highly doubt that you'll be able to pair two iPhones to one Watch so the spying thing is a real stretch.
