No. But it is apparently the sentence for selling illegally copied CDs or for telling an officer you are legally carrying a gun but are reaching for your wallet and ID. Oh, and it is apparently the sentence for stupidity. Since that can be judged in the street by officers of questionable merit, I suspect we may be reading about the death of apple ][ soon.

AH. My bad. It was the iOS kernel which was recently left unencrypted in the iOS 10 betas. THanks for forcing me to look that up

Interesting we have two malware attempts with relatively new-to-Mac effects soon after Apple distributed the macOS beta with an unencrypted kernel. Perhaps unrelated? I don't know enough to know for sure...

So, after June 29, do my PCs stop popping up "Get Windows 10" messages in the middle of me trying to do things? Do they stop trying to update themselves without my permission in the middle of the night?
