Galaxy Z Flip is Samsung's second try at foldable smartphones
Starting at $1,400?...Nah, I’m good. I’d much rather have an iPhone 11 Pro Max. Samsung has a track record for poor quality with initial releases. I’m not paying that much to be a Guinea pig. It’s cool companies are exploring options and new form factors but there’s nothing about this phone that would convince me to buy it, especially at this price, over an iPhone.

Amazon maintains massive lead over Apple in US smart speaker market
I really hope the rumors of an “HomePod Mini” turn out to be true. HomeKit works so much better for me than Alexa. I’m constantly having to reset Alexa and re-add my Hue lights. Then once i actually do get it connected again, it doesn’t recognize the command.Me: “Turn on the lights in the boys room”
Alexa: “Do you mean Hue white lamp 5?”
Me: Grrr..!!!!!!
Only reason I use Alexa at all is because of price. I suspect most people who buy Echo devices buy for that same reason. $25 gets you a voice assistant/smart speaker for every room. I can’t afford to put $300 HomePods in all the rooms of my house. Even if the HomePod Mini was still $99, that would be low enough for me to ditch Alexa.

ViacomCBS plans streaming service built on CBS All Access
Not a fan of CBS All-Access. It’s the one local station I can’t watch live on the Apple TV even when authenticating with my cable provider. Rather annoying.

I’m all the for the crown being made flat. I accidentally activate Siri quite often. Or at the very least, let us disable Siri activation with the button push.

Ring's app caught spying on users, sharing data with third-parties
And this is why I laughed when I saw Ring’s new commercial for smart home security systems, fire alarms, leak detectors, etc. This company/brand cannot be trusted to protect the consumer, no way am I allowing them into my house with more products.
