  • Some of Apple's 2018 iPhones may come in new colors like Blue and Orange

If they are going to do blue, hopefully it’s midnight blue. Saw a mock up of a midnight blue iPhone 7 and it was gorgeous.

  • Sprint, T-Mobile merger will generate 5G powerhouse, cut costs for users

I’ve been a T-Mobile customer for the last 3 years and was with Sprint for 4 years before that. Prior to both I had AT&T for years & years. I think both providers have closed the gap on AT&T when it comes to coverage. Sprints speeds still leave a lot to be desired but hard to argue with thier prices. I think this will end up being good for everyone.

  • Alleged 2018 iPhone prototype photos sporting brightly colored back covers are bogus [u]

Apple has too much class to offer those colors. Give me a break.

Haha. Great point. All but the white (any maybe blue) were awful colors. Would be cool to see Apple work in some new colors though. Still holding out hope for a midnight blue iPhone.

  • 2018 iPhone may sport three-lens camera system to boost image quality

I have used the iPhone X & it does feel like the future.
But I just like the home button so much. I feel like buying a 256GB iPhone 8 rather than a 10.
    Any opinions ?
Navigation wise, you’ll move past the home button very quickly. Swipe to home is very natural feeling. You may miss the home button a little if you use the app switcher often but wasn’t an issue for me. I personally prefer Touch ID over Face ID but I’m likely in the minority with that. Overall, I’d absolutely recommend the X if your looking to purchase a new phone.

  • Apple's Joswiak says iOS gaming catching up to modern consoles

I’m a big gamer and huge lover of all things Apple BUT mobile gaming doesn’t hold a candle to console gaming right now. Even the experiences available on a portable, dedicated gaming device like the Switch provides deeper & larger gaming experiences. If we’re just talking graphics, phones/tablets are getting closer but still a generation behind. More PS3/360 comparable than anything close to a PS4/Xbox One. I own 2 Apple TVs (4K & 4th gen) and play zero games on either. Initially sprung for MFi controllers because I was excited about the prospects of gaming on the ATV. Games are just shallow and more like “time killers” than they are meaty experiences like Breath of the Wild, Horizon: Zero Dawn or Sea of Thieves.
