And note the stupidity of a clickbait headline that WILDLY overpromises what the article will tell you and never pays off at all. Not one specific thing about how Apple's ring is going to blow the other manufacturers out of the water, just a regurgitation of known rumors and speculation and broad generalizations--not all of them true, either--about how Apple brings a product to market. Sonos apologizes for screwing up its revamped iOS app launch
I’d care more if Sonos provided me with a product that worked. I dipped my toe into Sonos speakers a couple of years ago and my experience is bad enough I won’t be trying anything else.I bought 2 Sonos Roams for patio use. From the very start one of them would consistently lose its connection to my Wi-Fi in under 15 minutes of use. I had to remove it from my account and add it again every time I wanted to use it. The stereo pair would break and that also caused issues of its own so I could never use them as a pair. Occasionally the one speaker would work for an hour or two and then just stop working. Sonos support was no help and they wouldn’t replace it unless I kept jumping through their hoops, trouble shooting my network, resetting the speaker, endlessly. I eventually just stopped using them.This year I figured I’d give them another shot but now I can’t even log into the app. Sonos no longer recognizes my email address. Whatever. I learned my lesson. -
Android switchers boost iPhone Sales -- but not for the iPhone 15
Price sensitivity isn’t limited to switchers. I have friends, a couple, that keep their iPhones for a long time and when they upgrade opt for one that is low cost. For example, they both upgraded 2 years ago. He had an iPhone 6, I don’t recall what she had. They asked me for input on what they should get. I urged them to go with a 14 or maybe a 13 but they went with SE (I think). About a year later their first grandchild was born and, unsurprisingly, they were both upset that their phones didn’t take photos as good as their daughter’s phone did, so the photos they took looked worse. He’s still using the same phone, and still complaining about photos, but she “upgraded” to an iPhone 12 Pro she found on eBay (and then had to replace the battery almost immediately).
I don’t really get it and it isn’t the way I would go but there are lots of people that take the price conscious route.

Not entirely what you are asking for but several cars use built-in cameras to read speed limit signs and adjust the cruise control accordingly. The ones I’ve seen allow the operator to set how much above (or below?) the posted limit they would like to drive at and the cruise will change as the speed limit does.MacPro said:Off topic a wee bit... but it would be neat if my car's adaptive cruise control could auto adjust to the speed limit when asked.
