    Wow. He really didn’t think that one through, did he? I thought he was smart? Well, I guess smart enough to change the name to reflect what the company actually does, collect users metadata to sell to other companies.

    It was assumed the Promotion display in the upcoming 13 Pro would drain the battery quicker. Clearly, Apple found a way around that issue. I watched this whole video and I’m impressed with these results. 

    When the 11 Pro came out, I said I would wait for the design change of the 12. But friends who had the 11 Pro were going a couple of days on one charge! My XS Max was frequently at 1% by the time I left work for the day after being charged all night. I ran out and bought an 11 Pro Max just before the 12 came out because I figured Apple would see that as a mistake and scale back the performance. So I’m very impressed that the 13 Pro even outlasts my 11 Pro Max which still has amazing battery life. I’m glad I didn’t get the 12 Pro because the colors were boring. Hated the blue. The 13 Pro’s blue is MUCH better. That’s the one I would get, but I’m still gonna wait to upgrade because I love my midnight green color.

  • Long-time Apple retailer Fry's Electronics suddenly shuts down

    I've never been to Fry's (I'm on the east coast) but thats sad. It was a bummer when Circuit City and Radio Shack closed down. Its like a part of your childhood is deleted when this happens. Very sad.

    I like Amazon and all, I've had a Prime membership for many years, but F them for causing all this. As great as it is to be able to order anything online and have it delivered right to your door the next day, I still enjoy walking into a physical store and getting to touch, hold and play with all the latest tech gadgets. There's just nothing like it. Amazon could have 1 hour or less delivery, thats still no substitution.

    Good for Scott for flying under the radar. And I hope he doesn’t help Apple one bit if he is forced out of hiding. What they did to him was just wrong. I think Jobs would’ve fired whoever fired Scott. Cause he really liked him. I do have a lot of respect for him though for staying quiet after they shafted him instead of making a scene. I wonder if he immediately became an Android user LOL I know Woz likes the Android OS. But that should be obvious, he’s a “gadgets guy.” Like any gamer, he likes to tinker with things, not be locked down to one ecosystem.

    True. But do they have no desire to learn something new? A new platform? Not even to give anything other than Windows a chance. So closed minded.
