What this article describes may seem damning to a layman, but is actually standard business practices. In many countries, even government linked companies try all the time to hijack and copy ideas from smaller companies. What’s new? It is just business as usual and human nature. 

Do these “global numbers” include China? 

Apple Card is a killer app. Apple will sell future iPhones on instalment plans, which you can charge to your Apple Card. And then use the rebates to buy Apple TV+ subscriptions. 

Apple’s future is in subscriptions and instalments. Brilliant. 

Nothing unusual - this is standard business practice.

In a business negotiation, whoever has the stronger bargaining power would be an idiot not to use it. I would be appalled if Apple does not bully the mall landlords, given the cache that Apple commands. Landlords are evil too. I can say this because I am one  

Heck, Apple should just go buy their own mall in Tel Aviv....
