A computer can compile, run and submit apps... (?)

The iPad Pro is great. I loved this short film. I found it touching. I think everyone wants a creative smart and independent kid like that.
But the film also leaves a bitter aftertaste with me. I can't help but thinking "rich people's kids"..
It'd be great if Apple could really help people who can never dream of affording an iPad Pro for themselves or their kids. I'd love to see that commercial..

Final Cut Pro x is speed. That’s why at least I’m using it. All of these updates are cool. But I’m surprised they haven’t announced a proper colour grading update. Color Finale is great, but pro grading really should be part of FCPX.

No word on Compressor and hevc encoding yet?

I think the Face ID hardware is a first step towards creating a true AR solution for future AR shades. I could see the next generation of sensors and emitters and stuff being built for seeing the world around you.

In a locked benchmark app I’m sure it performs well. But looking at my iPhone 6+, it’s clear, at least to me, that
1. The battery drains about twice as fast. Two charges per day necessary with normal use. the code must undergo severe optimisation to bring back the battery life, I think.
2. The apps themselves are often OK, but it’s the switching between apps and services that is bringing it to its knees, compared to iOS 10. Even bringing up control centre is a burden. It should always be accessible. Perhaps iOS 11 relies more on instructions that are optimised for newer hardware, or iOS is growing a bit too big for older phones?
stuff like this doesn’t always show in benchmarks.

I'm sure the video mode is in the works, as many have stated, but as of right now this is pretty misleading since it's a stills-only effect for now. (it was pretty though)
