If they could be used wired, they could be for vinyls, gaming, Blu-ray, computers, small live performances or anything. Would’ve loved a pair by the TV, but it’d only work with the AppleTV. I think it’s unfortunate. And I must add to that… their commercial is so creepy. Getting more and more creepy to be honest, these virtual home environments where everything is Apple. 😬 

Settlement doesn’t always mean money is involved. Like, if she is a leaker, as indicated in some reports, and had to be outed as a leaker in court, that wouldn’t reflect well on her credibility in the case, and maybe damage her credibility for life. And maybe she wasn’t ready for that? Like, if you’re dishonest in one area, what’s not to say you’re dishonest in other areas. Of course a movement like Appletoo needs to be organised by someone who isn’t afraid to be cheeky and burn a few bridges. Maybe she has those qualities? But I think it helps if they’re regarded as honest people.

I hope the "pro" Macbook Pro 15"/ 16" or whatever the size and name is gonna be, will look respectable and serene… and not flirtatious and fun and feel outlooked after a nights sleep. I'm in my 4 year upgrade cycle, and feeling ready for an Apple Silicon upgrade. But I'm getting anxious because of the iMacs and entry level Macbook redesign rumours sort of falling in that latter category for my taste…

If it wasn’t for the white frame I’d love it. The only way they can get out of this with pride  and style, is if they introduce a bezel-less screen ;-)

Hideous if you ask me. It’s like when I turned on all layer effects as a youngster discovering Photoshop’s layer capabilities, thinking it looked so cool and impressive. There’s absolutely nothing serene about it. Its just eye clutter to me. It’s a bit like what that battery graphics in Mac OS 11’s battery settings screen looked like when it was first announced (is it still hideous? I haven’t updated.) Border AND embossed AND aqua reflective AND massive drop shadow AND text on top. I think the current flat design with a hint of gradient is contributing to a very serene, decluttered experience. Would be sad to see it go in this direction. I’ve seen more cluttered icons showing up lately in Pages, Numbers, Keynote and Final Cut Pro on Mac OS..

The only thing that could validate this (in my opinion) terrible design, is if they’re readying icons to be truly 3D, ready for VR and AR. It’d make sense to show off 3D for a first generation, before maturing and bringing it to a more serene design again.
