  • Review: Apple's 4" iPhone SE is better than we deserve

Would love to see something similar for the NBA or NFL

I believe Apple would do well and be clever to offer iPhone 7 in 3 sizes: 4.2" (or 4), 4.7" and 5.5".

Even if it means the 4" model must be slighter thicker than is brethren and priced up there with the regular model. Oh, and naming it iPhone 7 mini is a no-brainer. I also wish Apple would give all iPhone 7's camera parody with no features exclusive to the plus model. Let the difference between these phones be price, display size and possibly battery life to some extent as guided by physics. Perhaps making them thicker as they go smaller would be a clever way to offer battery-life parody.

    iPhone 7 mini (4.2" x 8.1 mm), iPhone 7 (4.7" x 7.1 mm), iPhone 7 plus (5.5" x 6.1 mm)
Not crazy about the mini name - it makes the device sound less serious.

Too bad Spotlight Search is still broken, my #1 daily used feature.
Seems to be working fine here

That means there's no design for this Fall...so, we'll see iPhone 6SS instead...interesting if Apple move to 3 years for new design.
The rumored changes for iP7 seem fairly substantial - dual camera tech, thinner design (approx. 15-20%), no 3.5mm headphone jack, added speaker, fewer antenna lines. This is only what we know of. With the s models not getting the traction of years past, I wonder if Apple won't abandon that cycle completely, and instead focus on more substantial changes on a year by year basis. It seems the Plus models may evolve into a Pro model, with added features and more radical designs.

  • Shares of PayPal slide amidst rumors of browser-based Apple Pay checkout

I don't see your problem with PayPal. You are obviously too young to remember having to send a check when buying on eBay.
It's the forefather of online payments and has held up well.
PayPal is convenient, but with flaws, especially in regards to security. Twice I've had my account hacked and didn't recieve any meaningful support or resolution from PayPal. On one occasion I informed them of a fraudulent transaction, though only my bank did anything about it. After the bank cancelled the transaction, PayPal defaulted to charging my secondary payment account, even after informing them of the erronous charges. I've since added several security layers. My gut and experience tell me Apple will do a more thorough job.

I think this all the more reason that Apple will at some point move away from intel x86 to Apple ARM Ax chips.
