I’ll continue to predict this:

1. The entire product will be intentionally low-key, with sensors hidden (vs. google glass’ in-your-face approach)

2. Capture from sensors (e.g., taking pictures with your glasses) will be impossible — way too much of a creep factor.  Apple wants to sell camera phones, not camera glasses and will lean on the privacy-first reputation to explain the “missing” feature.

So how do you get it in Apple Wallet ...?

oh... unlike Japan’s system (where you get a separate, loadable card that you then add to Apple Wallet), it seems you can just tap compatible credit cards.  You have to enable the Express Transit option.

I wish Apple Insider would do a review about the security key support via WebAuthn. 

My HomePod just won’t update, so there’s that.

Starbucks pay (or whatever it’s called) also requires you to load money onto it, so that there’s less % loss to the transaction fees ... good for them, no real impact on the customer.

It’s basically Starbuck’s own MCX (or whatever that junky Walmart / CVS-backed idea was called) but it worked because Starbucks could get it off the ground since they were the only participant.
