I think most analyst overestimate the 15" screen. The main advantage of the 13" MBA is its portability due to its size and weight, combined with its lower price. The basic 15" MBA is too expensive for just a larger screen.

This feels the same way as when the iPhone was launched: all the other state of the art devices at the time felt instantly obsolete and clumsy. I have used the Quest a couple of times and was not impressed. I haven't used the Vision Pro of course, but just from the keynote and the reviews, it feels like you don't want to be one of the other guys. I can only imagine how they are rushing to catch up.

I think the Mac Studio is enough for a lot of previous Mac Pro buyers who needed the power but not the extendibility of the past Mac Pro, reducing the need for an extensible Mac Pro. In addition, the new SoC approach of Apple Silicon does not allow it to extend memory, which is probably a must have for buyers of this kind of machines. Because of this, I am a bit surprised Apple came with a new Mac Pro. This is not a Mac Pro in the same sense the previous one was.
