I was hoping that they introduce a new tips material this time. My number one complaint with my pros is that I have oily skin, which causes the Airpods to slip out pretty soon after I wear them. This dramatically reduces noise cancellation and audio quality. I have tried memory foam tips but they didn't help much. In fact they gave worse comfort. 

Launched with a 2 years old processor! That sucks. And before you say that it's pretty fast, remember that having the newest processor is about having the maximum support for future software updates in the coming years. Having the same processor means that Apple will retire AW6 at the same time as AW8!

And having a new processor would have certainly significantly increased the battery life which is really needed for the AW (sorry, low power mode doesn't really count). 

I think Apple is stuck in a crisis here. They can't entirely abandon the project because it's the "next big thing", and just too important to ignore from a technology perspective. On the other side, they have been struggling to get things running inside the project. And I don't think they have faced so many challenges with any other ground breaking product they introduced. Plus they have already sunken billions of dollars and many years into the program. Tim Cook is having a hard time deciding what to do with this, and seems like he has left the project on auto pilot. 

How to enable Lockdown mode? 

Man that's too big. The 45 version already looks like a calculator on wrist for most people. I wish they introduced a middle version - 43mm. That will be nice sweet spot for most.
