Apple's first AR/VR headset will need to be connected to an iPhone
This is exactly how I imagined Apple's AR glasses to be. Given that there's some serious space and power constraints in the (supposedly) thin frame of the AR glasses. All the heavy lifting will be done by the iPhone, with the glasses only serving as a display. -

Irrespective of whether Apple goes for a taxi like service or not, Apple will NEVER launch a gas/hybrid car. It's just so last century and polluting - nothing at all like what Apple is about.beowulfschmidt said:

Of course, if Apple is going for "cars as a service", like taxis, busses, Uber, and Lyft, then a full electric might make more sense, but will currently still likely cost more to make and maintain than a gas or hybrid vehicle.

"Apple will have a hand in every detail of the 'Apple Car,' analysts say" - this is obvious, and I said the same thing on AI maybe a year back on a related Apple car post. Apple likes to control each and every part of its products. We don't need analysts to figure that out.

I wish they made 42mm watch. 44mm is very big for me and 40mm is a bit small.
