Your post is ironic. TCPIP, the backbone of the internet, was invented by the US department of defence.

the Apple TV is too expensive, and over-engineered. It is also unlikely to replace Playstation or Xbox in front of the TV for gaming. In fact, I find Apples movies offerings on Itunes way overpriced compared to the likes of Netflix or Amazon, with Apple charging almost as much per film, as it costs to do a month on Netflix.. As far as TV goes, I see the only logical things for Apple to do are buy out a streaming competitor like Netflix to get a share of the streaming market. The Apple TV also needs to be simpler and cheaper. Making it way more expensive , with its fancy and proprietary gaming controller is not the way to go. I have heard it said in the past that Apple treat the Apple TV like a hobby, that is still the case now. They develop it, but it lacks commitment and direction.

Ordered a 44mm GPS in space grey today. Upgrading from a gen 0, and I already have 6 straps. Funny thing is, I bought a used series 3 on ebay last weekend. I then realised later that series 4 has full screen on many faces. So I am going to sell my series 0 and 3, and stick with the 4. There appear to be some supply issues already in the UK. Apple  store is 1 month on delivery. I got lucky, and got one in stock from a third party retailer.

That is why I would not buy the gold, due to having a lot of existing straps. The silver lugs/buckles actually look very good with the space grey, the contrast is nice.

Gold stainless...mmmm...but probably just do ALU since I don't expect these to be long term keepers. 

I had stainless steel for series 0, then aluminum for Series 3, but the display scratches waaay easier. I'm going back to SS. Plus the steel finish looks so much better IMO.

I have had the aluminium for 3 years. No screen scratches though. Its tough glass, same as the iphones. I have knocked my watch mainly against wood and steel, but no noticeable scratches anywhere. In theory these screens are hard to scratch, since they are harder on the mohs scale than steel or wood.

It is also worth mentioning that steel itself can get scratched on that Apple watch, although I hear they can be polished out. The space grey aluminium does not show any scratches i can see, and i am sure the dark colour helps.
