I bought myself a XC40 Volvo electric. A revelation how cars have evolved these last years. Google CarPlay works very well, and the Google assistant is very good at interpreting mij commands. And, as an Apple fanboy, I insert the cable and run AppleCar. And Siri. Oh boy, how terrible. It’s frustrating to the max. 

I have been using Mini’s since the beginning. As a psychologist I use them to write things while I’m working with a patient, and the mini never gets in the way. Bigger iPads, I tried them, are to big in my use case. I don’t play games, but reading a book or a paper is also nice to do. And of course, this iPad is the light weight option when traveling. 

I have this friend that bought the same clever all electric Volvo as I did. Immediately she disabled al the features I have come to like and find very helping after I got used to them. It took a while of adjusting, but now I don’t want to go back. I expect the same to happen with A.I. in Apple things, perhaps even more so as it is Apple and I’m one hour per day in my car, as with my phone… 

I thought that the 14Pro would still be a very modern phone, able to do most of the new AI stuff Apple is bringing. Apparently not. 

Nothing new here in the Netherlands! No changed Siri, no eraser in Photos. We, the Europeans, have been left out of the game. Or is it because it isn’t English? Or maybe the phone is too old: 14Pro. The iPad is to old: iPad pro 4-th generation. Because my laptop shows a sort of eraser.
