Better analogy - Imagine there was only one officially sanctioned art gallery in the entire world. And the art they sold could only be installed on a certain type of wall sold and controlled by the art gallery - unless the government intervened at great expense to the public. And this art gallery threatened to pull works from sale unless the artist updated their painting every seven years to be compatible with an arbitrary built-in obsolescence of the old walls. The moral of the story is... analogies are stupid. The artist and Apple are at cross-purposes and both have valid points. But Apple has the power and the artist is "being difficult".

"Blah blah blah nvidia AI". They're toast.

I could care less about AI, Siri has been turned off since day one and Apple will be fine if it steers clear from AI the same way it steers clear from social media and user generated content with very very minor exceptions.

I don't need another screen in my life, but I do need a lamp and a projector. Love.

Apple wont touch social media or user generated content in general with a ten foot pole.

You have to go ALL the way back to 1994's short lived eWorld for an example.

Even Apple Maps business reviews are outsourced to Yelp.

Social media companies have armies of people making sure you don't see cats in blenders and human decap tiations and even worse

Its not in Apple's DNA
