Unlikely. Most likely, he has lost interest, since he achieved the goal. Usually people like that do not stay in the same place, unless there are other big challenges to tackle there. That would be my guess..

8k? Finally someone (hopefully) started thinking about real VR glasses, and not just something that projects 1000x1000 images for each eye, with the size of pixels so big, you could see them...as if you are looking through a car window shade.
