And why does no one mention that everywhere else in American society you are retired or forced to retire by the time you’re 70? American politics looks like an archeologist’s wet dream.
At some point, hopefully soon, Bitcoin, this NFT and all these other fake investment tools will be prosecuted as old fashion pyramid schemes.
They're Enron and the credit default swaps from 2008 rolled into one. The difference is this scam is not even hiding in fancy accounting practices -- it's out in the open. It was bad enough that the crooks got bailed out with my tax dollars.
I've never known why advertisers believe their ads are effective.
They are a bane to existence. I go to a site to read the material there. Anything that gets in the way of that task is a distraction.
What is worse is on many sites these popup ads actually prevent me from reading the article contents as the ads end up shifting the page layouts to accommodate the ad images, making it impossible to read the articles.
Result -- totally avoid going to the sites now. Surprisingly I haven't missed them.
