People forget that Jonny has strong opinions on software that very much won the day at Apple. He’ll probably start by overhauling how Airbnb’s different interfaces work.

Also this doesn’t surprise me much, the Airbnb guys are massive Apple Fans. Early on all their call centre reps used Macs. These days they’ve moved a lot of their newer reps to chromeOS based devices. But still, they’re a company that actually has a huge emphasis on design of systems and policies. 

Family sharing is the way to deal with this. 

Ok this is going to drive so many calls to Shaw’s call center. They use the device’s MAC to auth connections on their network of WiFi base stations all across western Canada. 

This is either the owners being petty, (good on em) or this is a sign that there is stuff in the design of the algorithm that they don’t want getting out. 

Basically this means that Microsoft’s desire to create a Netflix of gaming and not give Apple a dime while running on their platform, is dead. However, if these companies want they can list individual games on the App Store. But they have to give Apple a cut if they’re going to run on iOS.
