The jump to 7 nm was predicted because TSMC was able to fab it now. The Mac is still stuck using 14 nm intel chips. Oh well, I don't want them to release faster MacBook Pros any time soon since I just got a 13 inch i7 and paid through the nose for it! (Though my new iPhone will probably be able to match it once I get it!)

My guess is that Apple is making decent coin from the people who buy bands at Apple stores while also realizing that all the cheap bands on amazon and ebay still help sell their watch and are a plus for them. (Which is good, because I hate when Apple acts ignorant of the things that hp them.)

Looks nice. If I didn’t already have a nice solar powered Logitech one I’d consider this. 

I expect they’d do a shorter Apple Pencil to match the height of the iPhone and then put out a case for it that let you slide in and either provided extra battery life or did something else to justify the extra thickness. (Or they’d just have a hump on one side.)

I wish Apple would just allow bloody upgrade pricing! I’m more than happy to pay for a new version of an app if a new version is out. But The whole subscription model thing assumes that I use all my apps every month, which I don’t!

subscriptions work for music services because there’s always new content available. Subscriptions work for video because we rarely want to watch things over and over. 

I dont need my word word processor or graphics app to be a subscription service because I might go months without using either one, then I might use it every day for a few months. I would rather just buy it and use it until it isn’t compatible with my device/OS.
