Cook justifies Apple's advertising on X as a 'town square' for the Internet
Tim is a gay man who survived growing up in the south. If you expect him to stick his neck out, don’t. His approach to things is to try and stay above the fray and avoid noticing the consequences of doing nothing.I suspect in a few decades people will look back at Apple’s continued funding of Twitter the same way we look at businesses who did business with Hitler. But he won’t be CEO anymore when society truly realizes the cost of continually caving to rich douche bags. -

Apple employees fear MR headset could be an expensive flop
At 3 grand I think it’s gonna bring a lot of people into the Apple Store to check it out, but they’ll make more money on iPhones sold to people who decide to upgrade just because they’re there than they’re will from people buying the headset.I think it feels weird for Apple to launch a device that so many people won’t be able to afford. (Even if people can’t afford a Mac Pro they can still typically afford some kind of Mac.) -
SUV crashes through Apple Store, kills one, injures many more
Honestly given the cost of what they sell, and how absolutely insane customers can get, all Apple Stores with facades that face outside should have big concrete posts that could stop a speeding car out front. I get that they might not look pretty, but cars have been used to attack Apple’s stores for years.
I’m sure this is something someone has suggested is likely to happen some day. Particularly now that Jonny Ive is gone, there shouldn’t be anyone left at Apple do I practically fixated on design that they can’t put a few decorative engine high pillars out front. Feel free to make them silver, black, white, rainbow. Just put them there so that the staff and customers are safe.
