Just as it ends, 'Defending Jacob' looks like the most popular Apple TV+ show
Sadly their best show is a limited series. I kind of wonder if they’re going to bring it back for a rushed awkward season 2 where Jacob gets accused of another crime. Also, no he didn’t do it, Apple wouldn’t have allowed Jacob to have an iPhone if he was the villain. Pats and the other kid who testified against him were the villains, hence they had Android phones. This was the best show on ATV+. Next best is probably Dickinson or Home Before Dark (haven’t seen that one but mom said she loved it.) Dickinson is great once you know what it wants to be (nothing you’ve seen before.)
See is kinda meh, finally finished it. Might watch season 2. But Defending Jacob was great aside from the last episode which had really strange pacing. -
2020 iPad Pro models feature 6GB of RAM, U1 chip across the board
Well that's good to hear since I already ordered mine! The only thing that my 9.7 inch iPad Pro needed really was more RAM. Part of me is bummed about the lack of A13, but if I remember from the presentation the A13 was really geared more toward power efficiency for phones they didn't get a massive performance boost out of it. I'm just really hoping this doesn't turn out to be some BS update where they release another one in the fall with an A14X that blows this one out of the water.

Amazon's Echo range updates take the smart speaker fight to HomePod
seantheman said:magman1979 said:Imagine how barren and ugly the IT industry would be, without Apple around to show everyone how it's done...
Honestly I believe this Echo Studio is hitting the final nail in the HomePods coffin. My HomePod is the nicest speaker I’ve ever owned. The only complaint that I have is the bass on it can’t be turned down with an EQ do even at low volumes other people in the house complain if I use it. But when nobody else is home I thoroughly enjoy the room filling sound. (If you want an album that really shows how great a HomePod sounds, put on Ben Platt’s debut album.I do think that Apple needs to bring down the price of HomePod or release a less intense version. Like one that has sound quality similar to Sony’s Bluetooth speakers. As it is right now we are switching over to having more HomeKit accessories in my parents house, but that means that they need to have an iPhone or iPad in the room in order to use Siri to turn on lights or control the thermostat. If you’ve left your phone in another room charging it’s not great.
