I had to look it up, but "FiRa Consortium and the UWB Alliance announced their formal liaison to "accelerate the development and adoption of UWB technology"". They develop "technology for use cases such as access control, location-based services, and device-to-device services". I don't know why Apple WOULDN'T want to be a member. There are other member that work on things like access control devices for doors. Wouldn't it be so easy to use your iPhone and/or Apple Watch to, say, lock and unlock your front door? They're already working on it for your car. That would make it SO much more convent.

Some of the Velop models are compatible, some are not. I have no idea why some are and some aren’t. 

Bummer. I just got the “regular” wifi 6 version of these guys about 6 months ago. Of course they now release a new version...

Well, if you're using a free social media app (or almost any free app or website, for that matter), guess what makes it free? Ads and user data. Every free site and app out their uses and sells that data. Heck, a lot of paid apps and sites, do, too...

I'm curious how many people/companies actually NEED 10Gb/s ethernet. For most of us, it's a "nice to have" option, but I would guess that 99.9% of us don't actually NEED it. I would assume it's probably used mainly in data centers. (Yes, I know what they say about assuming...)
