  • Oppenheimer: Apple 'lacks the courage to lead the next generation of innovation'

If you think about it, what has Apple done in 5 years?  They created a watch that people do not really need, and they created a 'trash-can' Mac Pro that has not been touched in 3 years and does not sell very well.  They haven't created anything new that people did not realize they actually need...like they did with the iPod and iPhone.  Siri has been around for five years and not much improvement.  They added a few more 'features' like asking about sports or movies, but it makes mistakes quite often when trying to use it.  My Philips Hue lights work better with the Philips app than they do trying to set them up with HomeKit.

    Where's the Watch support?
The Apple Watch is supported.  Go to iTunes and it says, 'Offers Apple Watch App for iPhone'.  The watch support is not a new feature.  That was added back in July to the new Philips Hue app, and added back in April 2015 with the original Philips Hue gen 1 app.

Awesome move by Apple. This SHOULD shut up most of the complaints, but of course it won't.
Buy an iPhone for $649 to $949 and you get a FREE adapter to use your existing headphones with the new iPhone 7.  Buy a $2,000+ laptop and you are forced to buy TWO new adapter cables to use your iPhone and existing USB devices.  Apple increased the price of the new laptops and now require the customer to fork out more money for cables and dongles to use their existing devices.  Apple should have included a lightning to USB-C and a USB-A to USB-C cable in the box of all new MacBook Pros so customers can use their existing devices.  This a dumbass move by Apple and of course you think it is so great because you are so ignorant to reality.  You do realize that Apple INCREASED the price of the new MacBook Pros, rather than keep them at the same price point.  There was nothing innovative in these new models.  A substandard keyboard, the same processors, and ports that require dongles.  People have a valid reason to complain.

Out of all days they decide to announce an iMac clone the day before Apple special event. Coincidence?
I would hardly call that an iMac clone.  You obviously did not watch the video to see what the computer can actually do.  Creative professionals would actually find that computer to be quite useful, even if it is running Windows 10.

So this is what Apple calls innovation now
When Eddy Cue shows up late to a meeting with CableTV execs, and wearing a Hawaiian shirt and flip-flops, it is no surprise he could not strike a deal.  So this is what you get instead.
