  • Work on second-gen Apple Vision Pro & new smart glasses is progressing

Not news. The only way this was ever going to be a legit big deal is glasses.

AVP wasn’t a hit. The 2nd gen will be a bit better - mostly due to ai software - but still suffer from being a headset.

Untethered glasses that look like actual glasses/sunglasses will be the thing. Especially if they look like or are brand name shades (even if they are an apple design complete with signature Apple design. Not some nerdware.
I have zero interest whatsoever in glasses or AR. I don’t see the appeal of it or what I would use it for. I would rather buy a VR Headset.

  • Keychron K10 Pro review: All-rounder and affordable keyboard

After reading this review, I spent hours doing research on these keyboards and I ended up not buying anything. I don’t really like the multicolor aspect of it and I couldn’t find an all black option. I decided after all of my research that if did buy one, I would splurge for a Q6 Max, but another thing I was worried about were the KSA profile key caps. They are super high profile and I was worried that it would be too extreme of a difference from the Apple keyboards that I’m used to. The main reason why I’m even thinking about it is because I very often press multiple keys at the same time. So I guess that I was hoping for a keyboard where I don’t make so many mistakes. Apple’s Predictive Typing is not very good and when it changes a word, the choice makes absolutely no sense a large percentage of the time. I’m really hoping that Apple Intelligence will play a big role in Predictive Typing because of how bad it currently is.

  • Future Apple Vision: What to expect from Apple's next headsets

I would never want a lesser Apple Vision Pro. The reason I haven’t bought one yet is because it’s not good enough yet, not because it’s too expensive. They need to address the weight issue by maybe using different materials or maybe by better weight distribution. I wouldn’t mind if they got rid of the front facing screen because I have no use for that, but the camera resolution needs to increase, not decrease. Battery life also needs to be a lot better. I didn’t buy the watch until the Series 4 because that is when it was good enough in my opinion. I’m sure that I will love the Apple Vision Pro, but I’ll sit out the first few iterations of it.

  • Apple Ring: Two decades of rumors and speculation about a smart ring

You can use Apple Watch for sleep monitoring.
I’m aware. I already have worn my Apple Watch for sleep metrics many times, but it doesn’t feel like there is enough information. I don’t know that a ring would be any better than a watch and I don’t know if there even is a perfect solution. I just know that I’m looking for something better than what is currently available. I have used both the SleepWatch app and the SleepScore app and it kind of seems like it would be great to combine them into one app. I guess the problem is that there isn’t one great solution that has everything in one product. It’s still an unsolved problem.
