This is exciting stuff.
This is where Apple needs to push its stockpile of cash into. Biosensors and medical is going to be a goldmine that is going to explode for Apple. And especially so because it dovetails so well with their gadgets and their reputation with quality and privacy. Apple more than any other company is the best positioned to take this category and dominate it. 
This is the long term product/services than are not at the mercy of today's current product cycle whims that freak Wall St. Investors and keep Apple in play for manipulation and gossip.

I still say the 8 is next year. And it will be a sexy wedge design to easily sense orientation and for ergonomic reasons. 
If there is an "edition", its will merely be a gussied up 7s in nicer case like the Watch "Edition" models.

Considering the iPhone 8 is  over a year away and the 7s is also going to be very similar to the 7, is a wash.
people will move to the iPhone 7s this year because it's a better and more secure OS. Samsung and all android for that matter will decline this year based solely on people finally security seriously.

The iPhone 7s is this year. The iPhone 8 is NEXT YEARS MODEL. The sooner you all come to terms with that the better.
...And even then, who knows if the supply chain can deliver enough for next years iPhone 8.

One place we will see oled this year, will be in the function area that takes place of the home button on the iPhone 7s and 7s plus .

Analysts are as useful and insightful as a rock laying in the gutter. I think l we can all agree time has proven that to be true.
