That makes even less sense. USB-A charging is ubiquitous. There is ZERO incentive for Apple to change USB-A to USB-C on the iPhone until USB-C starts to take over USB-A in the real world.

What do you mean it doesn't make sense? The other end of the iPhone cable is the old USB that is not even supported on the new MacBooks. It's cleaning the Apple ecosystem of the old USB connection.

I never thought a curved display from Apple would see the day. Shinny, glittery useless "fun" gimmick though. 

Fits Samsung perfectly though.

Apple had a huge head start with Apple TV, and it held a lot of promise. But it really did blow it. Where's gaming? Where was Siri support when everyone was sure it would become Alexa before Alexa was even a thing. 
Today, as much as I love Apple, the Apple TV, as well as Roku are objects perfect for smashing with melon sized boulders. insanly awful. 
anyone would be a fool not to go with the much cheaper less UI muck of Chromecast device.

my Apple TV is in a box in a closet. Roku is still on one of my TV's and a constant reminder of frustration and desire to smash into a billion bits.

i don't use portrait mode myself, but it's nice to know it's there.

..and I can see why some would use it.
