New Mac Pro may not support PCI-E GPUs
I’ve said it when the rumor first started about adding GPUs. No way.The modularity of the Mac Pro will be one of two things:
1) the same thing we have with the other Macs: storage, etc.
or, if Apple really wants to innovate:
2) a new motherboard framework that acts as a “fabric” which ties together multiple SOCs, with slots that you can add more SOCs after purchase. Each SOC would contain CPU, GPU, and RAM and that would be how you expand. Apple would of course charge crazy money, laugh all the way to the bank, and yet it would still enable customers to get what they want. -
US sues Google over digital ad market monopoly
Never before in history has the United States government been so hostile to its own people. When the government sues private sector companies for being successful, something’s wrong and needs to change.Just because it’s Google this time doesn’t matter. We’ve seen Apple treated like this as well. It’s not right. There is no monopoly. They’re just ahead of everyone else and better at it. That’s not bad.Mig you want to go after google, go after something legit and beneficial to people, such as limiting the invasions of privacy.Don’t sue just to fund your agendas and weaken someone just because they happen to be strong. -
Apple Silicon Mac Pro in testing with macOS 13.3

That’s just wrong.requirements. For the rest of us, the reason we wait on a Mac Pro is so that it can destroy everything else AT WHAT WE NEED IT TO DO. Not a spec game. A real world performance game. Otherwise it wouldn't need to exist. Tray harder next time.

Apple's muted 2023 hardware launches to include Mac Pro with fixed memory
I wonder if Apple will introduce a whole new SOC for the desktops with Mac Pro. A D series or X series that clocks much higher and is tuned for more power consumption. It makes sense. Might also explain the M possibly not being “Mac” but rather “mobile.”The M series is basically a mobile SOC family, leaving it to the Frankenstein Ultra to measure up to desktop expectations.Having a dedicated desktop architecture, still based on the same foundation, but afforded some fire breathing room.Keep the awesome Mac Peo case. No need to change. And pack it with power.
