No no one uses facebooks browser as a browser. 

But if you jump from a Facebook app to other linked articles, then there you go. It’s all in the app usage - or in safari if you log in that way.

obsoleting Macs that are only 3 years old? 

Though im not personally affected by that, it’s wrong. Very wrong. 

I dig Mojave. Love how they are making it more compatible with iOS without merging the two, etc. 

but... computers 6 years old and newer need to be able to upgrade.  

Apple itself defines the timeframe of an obsolete computer and they aren’t even following their own protocol here.

i guess this is the Mac version of the iPhone 6/ios11 “batterygate.” 

It will likely help nee macs to be purchased. But it’s wrong. And that’s coming from a long time Apple evangelist. 

Samsung is so clueless. They admit they stole but then they want to set the terms of restitution. It doesn’t work that way. 

Then they try to set a price on “only the infringing components and not the total smartphone.”

thats the whole point - that those complete smartphones wouldn’t have sold like that had they not infringed. So yes, the whole cost is included. 

Samsung had stuff like the Instinct, etc before they blatantly ripped off apple. And the rip-off is what gave them footing in the market so it could be argued Samsung owes Apple far more than Apple is asking.

Russia is an entire culture of software development and legit hacking. 

Russians will be jailbreeaking and using this. Put in knows that. He fostered that culture.

iOS gaming is NOWHERE NEAR modern console gaming.

If you want to get real about gaming, then please do it. Make an official controller for the iPad and make it better than the Nintendo Switch. 

Looking at the Fortnite pic in the headline... it looks stupid. The graphics are an ugly mess. 

I have a PS4 and and Xbox One and both curb stomp iOS gaming to death. 

I tried getting into gaming on my phone, but it's annoying. so then my iPad Pro. Again annoying.

for involved games, you do need a real controller. Not just a touch screen.

I am a huge Apple fan over pretty much any other company, but Joswiac sounds out of touch here and that concerns me.

You know what would be awesome? An Apple TV tier that is as powerful at gaming as an Xbox One X.

That would be amazing.

but no... Apple will continue to halfway dance with gaming and then pat themselves on the back with make-believe statements. 

iOS gaming is nothing more than casual fodder. The real games that have been ported can look decent, but they are annoying to actually play.

I was impressed that Injustice for example looked about as good as a good Wii U game, but then I played it... No bueno. 

dumbed down control schemes or putting a controller on the screen is just pure lame.
