  • San Bernardino shooter's iPhone may hold evidence of 'dormant cyber pathogen,' DA says

San Bernadino County reset the passcode, making it impossible to access the phone's data by any other means but a brute force attack. The did this intentionally, at the request of the FBI. Freaking bunch of liars.

Yea right. By now everyone knows this is a test case the FBI and DOJ chose specifically for its terrorism aspect. Problem is everyone knows they are lying. They FBI has already said they don't expect to find any data on the subject phone pertinent to an ongoing investigation. They acted alone, not in concert of participation with others, and they are dead. Their is no good reason to continue this nonsense of forcing Apple to supply the government with a backdoor hack. A Brooklyn, NY judge has said so.

  • FBI contacted Apple, received data related to San Bernardino case 3 days after shooting

It's basically what I have said from the beginning - that the government has no qualified need to compel Apple to write a new OS, as the suspects are dead and they don't believe others were involved. The FBI and DOJ invented this situation as a ruse to get a backdoor, or obtain through the courts what they ought to be getting from Congress. What's really pathetic is that a majority of Americans, with the help of some worthless politicians and media pundits, are either too dumb to see this truth or willing to let law enforcement lie to violate our rights.

And I have said from the beginning that the FBI has no real plenary authority here. The suspects are dead, the crime is done, there is nothing left to investigate. This is the power of law enforcement to lie to judges in affidavits and go after anyone they want, when they want, under the auspices of 'doing their job.' They lie, cheat and steal all the time. That's their job. And we wonder why we have no rights
Co conspirators, like the buddy that bought their weapons for them have to be looked into. Though I'd expect all their phone and cell service records would contain the relevant contact information for that line of investigation.
Where is this mythical buddy you speak of? Did it ever occur to any of you boot-licking, authoritarian gun lovers that the time to catch the terrorists was BEFORE they killed all those innocent people? Perhaps even start tracking them when they bought the guns? No, we can't have that. So lets just spy on everyone instead. SMFH
