Imagine a 15” Air (thinner and lighter than other 15” laptops) which Apple will also cripple with only one external display. Because that’s who Apple is now, and that’s what they think of their customers. 

..."Act of love"... no sooner Jonathan Ive and his bullshit left, and Federighi picks up the mantle. 

It’s disappointing for all but hardest Apple kool-aid drinkers for Apple to make this kind of decision. Many times I almost purchased a refurb loaded Air only to catch myself and think of the upcoming one which surely will support dual external monitors. I think the feeling is, hey we helped you put your hundreds of billions in the bank, throw us a bone every now and then. The screen remained small. That was one, but this one, no dual external monitors was just uncalled for. Might be small beans for some but the effect it was on Apple as a company is much bigger. 

Any word whether dual external monitors are supported?

You can live without Facebook.  I dropped it 3 years ago and filled in the community social need with Reddit and did not miss the family pictures because I get enough updates by email.

Hardest thing for me is that the HOA and all neighbors use Facebook groups to keep in touch. But I also quit it a few months ago. Second time I quit it in 2 years, hopefully it will take this time, I'm sure I'm done with it for good, and with any company owned by Meta.
